Greg Pratt

Artist Statement for Gregory Pratt

I’ve always been a frustrated artist, in the fact that I could never get my visions from my brain to my

hands, to the pencil or brush, then to the paper or canvas. Once a camera was introduced to my world,

though, I found I could finally capture those visions, either on film or digital medium.

My inspirations come from the world around me. I see scenes in my head daily of natural scenery, old

rusting machines or in the human form that speak to me to be captured by the camera for the world to

see; to enjoy, invoke emotion or inspire.
