John Dale Kennedy Brief Bio.

Pictures From My Travels, Part II

By John Dale Kennedy

Sangamo Club Showing thru July 2, 2015 As an amateur photographer, John has been liberated from the costly restraints of film; digital is an enticing

un-rationed medium. He thinks he’s bound to get one decent shot from the scores taken and with today’s amazing point-and-shoot cameras, he’s thankful there

are plenty of technical aids silently at work inside! All in this exhibit are products of these ubiquitous pocket magic lanterns.

During John’s travels, he likes to capture the unusual and have fun with the unlikely. As a scuba diver he’s eager to share the striking color and variety of sea

creatures with his fellow land-locked denizens. Always looking for the playful, mysterious or revealing structure in everyday routines, John also likes to offer

a new look at familiar and especially iconic land-based subjects. He especially enjoys exhibiting his subjects in recycled frames when he can find them.
