SARAH THOMAS: ARTIST STATEMENT

I have a playfulness about me and I think that is why I love what I

do so much. As an artist, I have the privilege of embracing

playfulness in every design. I get to create unique designs and play

with colors, textures, and shapes and bring them all together to

create a beautiful piece that also brings joy to others! Every piece I

create is a labor of love, carefully handcrafted to infuse spaces with

color, light, and a touch of charm.

My favorite aspect of my work is when the glass comes alive,

dancing in the light, offering a dynamic interplay that transforms

my work into two separate pieces of art; the piece itself and its

refraction. My goal with my art extends beyond the mere visual; it's

about creating an immersive experience for the viewer. I aim to

evoke a range of emotions, from a sense of wonder and joy to

introspection and contemplation. I believe that art, at its core,

should be a channel for emotional connection, sparking a dialogue

between the piece and its observer, inviting them to explore the

depths of their perceptions.SARAH THOMAS
